The most serious side effect caused by Baycol is rhabdomyolysis. This is a condition where muscle cells deteriorate, resulting in release of muscle cell contents into the bloodstream. Rhabdomyolysis may result in kidney damage and other organ damage which can be fatal. In addition to muscle pain and weakness, other symptoms to be aware of include:

  • vomiting
  • nausea
  • dark urine
  • fever
  • fatigue
